We are proud to present the Parc-le-Breos Scout Campsite.
For all Youth Organisations, Schools and Church Groups.
(Sorry, this camp site in not available for use by the general public)
The campsite is located on the Gower Peninsula which was designated the UK’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty back in 1956, it is just a short drive from Swansea.
Visit the Gower Peninsula for a rich and varied environment from wild moors and limestone cliffs to golden, sandy beaches.
Parc-le-Breos is in an extremely attractive setting, amidst well-established woodland with large open grassed areas. It provides an ideal location for wild back-to-basics camping and outdoor activities, but with the added bonus that the site is not classed as 'greenfield'. The surrounding woodland provides ample deadwood and excellent facilities for Scouting activities.
The site has mains water points and chemical toilet disposal units. Thanks to the Heritage Centre, Parkmill (400 metres off site) we have the use of toilets and hot showers (male & female), day and night, for a small charge that is made for shower tokens and a refundable deposit that is made for a key.
There are many clean, sandy beaches within easy walking distance and good hiking routes are plentiful.
